I purchased a new couch. I tried to give my old couch away, but after almost a month I was ready to get it out of the way. I have the thought of junking a totally useful piece of furniture, but what can you do?!
My partner was looking for assistance hauling out some stuff and came across Cousins Hauling & Clean-Out on Yelp. She relayed the information and, problem solved.
I reached out to them on a Thursday night while at work. By Friday morning they had already responded and we worked out a pick-up for Saturday morning. That’s quick! You can go through the prompts on Yelp to get a quote. And what was quoted was exactly what I paid.
Saturday morning they contacted me to relay the pick-up prior to mine turned out to be more than expected and they would be a bit late. I’ve gotta give it to them, they called 3 times. My phone was on silent so they wanted to make sure the new arrival time was okay. And in the end, they arrived earlier then that.
They came in, wore masks, and made quick work of removing my couch. It was quick and painless. I paid with a credit card and had the receipt texted to my phone. They were professional, pleasant, and apologized for being late. They set the example for great customer service! I will definitely call them again for any other items I need to discard. Cousins was incredible! I had a roof disaster and had to remove all my old moldy furniture from my room. Highly organized and professional owners & staff. Completed clean-out of cluttered house (3BR with basement and backyard) in 1 day. Worthy investment for my position as executor of parent’s estate preparing house for sale. Company took numerous waste items for recycling and reuse, and transported scrap metal to a waste management facility for processing. Pleased that these items were not taken to a landfill.
